Battern Cavies All 3 of our piggies have passed on. Bella died of cancer just shy of her second birthday. Bonnie and Beata both fell ill and died suddenly at ages 28 and 25 months. The oldest, Bella, will always be remembered as a sweet, reserved little girl. She was an American crested with a black coat as smooth as silk. Petting her was remarkably theraputic. Bonnie, our Red Self shorthair, will be remembered as resourceful and adaptable. She was a wonderful pet for a rather rambunctious boy. Beata was a tri-color American Teddy Bear. She was our talker and explorer. She always managed to hold her own. |
